Ryoko Takeuchi was an officer with the Metropolitan Police Department before coming to work for the TAC. She is a very down to earth, coolheaded, yet romantic person, who plays Momiji's maternal figure in Tokyo. Later she falls in love with her boss, Daitetsu Kunikida, who is a good match for her. Towards the end of the series, They start dating, and I think you can figure out the rest.
