Demon City Shinjuku is the story of Kyoya Izayoi, and his task of saving the world. Ten years earlier his father, Genichiro, tried to stop Levi Rah, and failed. He paid for it with his life. Now, ten years later, Levi Rah is closer than ever before to opening the portal to the demon world. He starts his renewed havoc by attempting to kill President Rama. Unfortunately for him, Master Aguni Rai, the man who taught the art of Nempo to Genichiro, is watching over the president. Since his presence is the only thing keeping the endangered president alive, Master Aguni Rai sends his spirit to talk to Kyoya. Since Kyoya is the only known remaining practitioner of Nempo, his fathers task now falls to him. But Kyoya refuses to aknowledge this task as his own. On his way home, he is met by the president's daughter, Sayaka Rama. She also tries to talk Kyoya into fighting Levi Rah. But he again refuses. Undaunted, Sayaka heads into the nearly abandoned city if Shinjuku on her own to try to stop Levi Rah. Kyoya, feeling that he cannot let her go on her own, follows her. After he saves her from getting into some serious trouble, he decides that he might as well help her out. And what comes next is a dangerous roller coaster ride of twisted hate, duty, adventure, and ultimately, love.

This story is actually very good. Made by the same people a Darkside Blues, it also has a certain amount of mystery in it. There is a little romance, but not too much. The downside of this movie is that the characters in the english dub have wierd accents. Like Sayaka has an english accent, and Chibi has a spanish one. This movie also has just enough sexual content to be categorized as Rated R, and alot of curse words. Mainly said by Kyoya.
