Blue Seed is the story of 15 year old Momiji Fujimiya and an assortment of other aquaintences and their task of saving Japan from it's ancient enemy; the Aragami. The series has a a nice blend of almost everything. The start-off in the series is a bit slow. But if you stick with it for awhile it most definitly gets better. Momiji is a 15 year old girl who happens to come from the bloodline of the Kushinada; the one force that can stop the Aragami. Legend says that if the Kushinada dies, or is offered as a human sacrifice, the Aragami will be destroyed. But the members of the TAC, a secret government organization whose task is to stop the Aragami, have other plans. The members of the TAC are Mr. Kunikida, the corny boss, Matsudera, the head of the scientific stuff, Kome, a redhead chick who's obsessed with weapons, Takeuchi, the elegant but tough second-in command, and Yagashi, a computer whiz who is constantly getting picked on by Kome. Other characters are Kusanagi, Momiji's protector who has seven metama's that give him superhuman powers, and Sakura, a pretty blonde from America who is an accomplished Faith Healer and scarily wild. Together the members of the TAC, Momiji, Kusanagi, and Sakura, are going to do anything that it takes to make sure that the Aragami are gone for good. The one thing that I have to warn you about this series is that it is most definitly a "chick flick." While it has plenty of action, the deep emotions of Momiji, and her love for Kusanagi, are likely to drive most guys away while it keeps alot of the girls watching it.
